Call for Media Production Team: Video Documentary for AGILE Project

Are you a dynamic media production team with a passion for storytelling and social impact? We are looking for you to produce a compelling video documentary for our Action for Gender Inclusive Livelihood Empowerment (AGILE) Project, implemented in Dodoma and Morogoro regions.

About the Project: The AGILE Project aims to empower smallholder farmers through gender inclusive livelihood opportunities, fostering significant positive changes in their lives and communities. This project also involves training Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church leaders in social justice, enhancing their ability to advocate for equity and pass on their knowledge to their congregations.

Documentary Scope: We seek a media production team to create a documentary that captures the essence and impact of the AGILE Project. The documentary will involve:

1.Field Visits: Travel to Dodoma and Morogoro to meet and film smallholder farmers. Document their stories, capturing significant changes and opportunities they have experienced because of the AGILE Project.

2. Interviews with Stakeholders: Conduct interviews with:

  • Government Officials: Discuss project successes and future plans.
  • Project Partners: Highlight collaborative efforts and outcomes.
  • Trained SDA Church Leaders: Explore how social justice training has impacted their roles and how they have disseminated this knowledge within their churches.

3. Highlighting Impact: Showcase real-life stories and testimonials that illustrate the project’s success and its transformative effect on the communities involved.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in producing high-quality documentary videos.
  • Ability to travel to Dodoma and Morogoro for on-site filming.
  • Excellent interviewing and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in video editing and post-production.
  • Sensitivity to cultural and gender dynamics.
