ADRA Tanzania in partnership with ADRA Denmark is running Action for Gender Inclusive Livelihoods Empowerment (AGILE) program which works in Dodoma, Morogoro and Pwani regions. AGILE program aims at saving and improving lives of thousands of smallholder farmers, protecting the vulnerable minority groups including persons with albinism and providing relief to people affected by disasters as promoting social justice for those suffering societal inequalities and requiring advocacy so that they can live in dignity as God intended. The project intends to hire for new position as described below:

Position: Project Driver – Action for Gender Inclusive Livelihoods Empowerment (AGILE Project)

Project Duration:     3 Months

Location:                   Morogoro, Tanzania

Job Overview:

ADRA Tanzania is looking for a reliable Project Driver to provide transportation support for the AGILE Project in Morogoro. The Project Driver will ensure safe and efficient vehicle operations, assist with logistics, and contribute to the smooth implementation of project activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport project staff, materials, and equipment as required.
  • Maintain vehicles in good condition and perform routine checks.
  • Assist with logistics for project activities, including procurement and delivery.
  • Adhere to traffic laws and safety standards.
  • Support administrative tasks as assigned by project managers.
  • Provide logistical support during emergencies or field visits.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license (class B, C, D) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a Project Driver or similar role.
  • Knowledge of local roads and routes.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is required
